Pray for friendship reconciliation

I come before to give You thanks for everything that You have done, everything that You are doing and everything that You will do in my life. Mighty God I ask you to restore my friendship with my unrequited love. Please open his heart and allow him to remember I tried to be a good friend to him always, and my care and concern for him were always genuine. Please allow him to truly forgive me for needing him too much and perhaps allowing my feelings for him to become too apparently clear. My Lord I know I have caused this situation, but I also know that You paid for our mistakes and sins on the cross. I know You have mercy and I know You always take care of me. I miss my friend so much. At one point we were truly close, and were honestly there for each other. I know my feelings weren’t returned, but I love him with my whole heart. I know his actions now bespeak not wanting me in his life, and I know I angered, overwhelmed and frustrated him. But I can’t bring myself to believe in my heart of hearts that in his heart of hearts he doesn’t remember caring for me, or my attempts at friendship. I know I’ve been met with silence for months, but I have faith that the person I believe he is – the person who completely captured my heart – is a person who won’t turn his back and harden his heart forever. I can’t believe he’s selfish, or a narcissist. I’m begging for your help Lord to help him remember I do care for him, and one more person who cares for him truly, despite my mistakes, is worthy of forgiveness. Dear Lord I am asking for a reconciliation in my friendship. At the moment the situation DOES seen impossible, but I know You have plans for me, and I’m holding faith that those plans don’t include the recriminations, self-doubt, loneliness and grief his loss has resulted in and its negative impact on my daily life. I do not know right now how the situation will resolve, but the continued pain of this stonewalling is crushing me. I’m praying for forgiveness, a chance to regain some of our friendship, and that his heart will thaw and he’ll remember that while he’s surrounded by people who will help him in his new professional life, when he was at his most vulnerable he trusted me. I believe You can and will bestow your grace, love and light on this situation. I’m asking with my whole heart for a chance to communicate again. I love him, Lord. I believe in him. I believe in You as well, and turn my damaged heart to you in faith. Also Lord help every single person in a same situation, have mercy upon them. I ask this in Jesus’ mighty name. Amen.

Prayer for my child to heal who is undergoing dental surgery today

My lord, The head of holy world, The king of mercy and love, my child Edwin is undergoing dental surgery today, I pray for him to give strength, patience and energy to withstand the pain.He is getting trouble on the teeth all the time. We pray and cry a lot not to have any problem for Edwin forever hereafter.

He is very small and loving kid suffering a lot because of our unplanned way of life, since I am living in abroad away from him I got lesson through this point, I cry for my child…God help him to heal soon and give power to his mind and heart to withstand it.

Prayer to Bring My Love Back to Me

Dear St. Jude,

Please return my love to me. This person was the answer to years of prayer for a loving partner to join my life. I always cherished the gift of this person and his love. I knew it was you, St. Jude who meant for us to be together by putting us in each others path over and over until we finally understood.

Please don’t let the difficult and painful circumstances that have just separated us be permanent. I had been praying faithfully and with devotion for all barriers between our being together to be removed. Christian Mealtime Prayers

Christian mealtime prayers, or saying grace, has been a long held tradition over thousands of years.

Our food is the most conspicuous and constant reminder of our Father’s loving care and beneficent provision for our wants and needs. It means to us the continuance of life, good health, and prosperity.

Mealtime prayers have been taken up into the greatest of all symbolism, the Bread of Life, and Water of Life, and the Lord’s Supper. If at any time of the day public thanksgiving is to be expressed to God by our Christian families, it should be at meal prayer time.

Grace before meals is also an indispensable mode of testimony to the bountiful sustenance given to us by God. But the chief argument for saying grace is the example of the Lord Himself. It is said that Jesus blessed the fishes and barley cakes before breaking and giving them to the multitude whom He miraculously fed. Saying grace was Christ’s invariable habit, as it should be the invariable habit of all those who in all things wish to follow Christ’s example.

Prayer for my wife’s forgiveness for breaking her trust in me

Heavenly Father,

I pray to you for Your forgiveness for having destroyed my wife’s faith and trust in me. I have committed adultery in her eyes, and in my heart, by seeking companionship in internet chat rooms. I have let my addiction to the internet ruin our marriage.

We had been emotionally distant from each other for the past several months and I would go online in search of needing to feel wanted. Although I did not commit sins of the flesh with anyone since we have been together, I have committed sins of the heart that I want to atone for.

Please God, give me a second chance to be a better husband to her.

I pray for my wife to find it in her heart to forgive me and for her to decide that our marriage is worth saving. I resolve, with your help, to overcome my internet addiction and my personal demons and become the husband that you want me to be and the husband that she deserves. I love my wife with all of my heart and I am so sorry for being stupid because I was lonely.

Praying the Hedge of Protection

One of the most common ways Christians pray for protection, is to ask God to erect a hedge of protection around whatever it is you want to protect.

Lets go over the origin of the hedge of protection, and then learn how to pray for the safety
of the ones we love by invoking the idea of a spiritual hedge to provide safety from evil.

The Hedge of Protection in the Scriptures

There are many instances in the scriptures where
a hedge is described as a means of protection. Perhaps the most famous comes from the book of Job.

After God boasts to the Devil about Jobs goodness, the Devil insists that Job is only good because
God has been protecting job; shielding him from the dangers of the world with a hedge of protection:

” Hast not thou made a hedge about him, and about his house, and about all that he hath on every side?
Thou hast blessed the work of his hands, and his substance is increased in the land.” [Job 1:10]

So, this is the first evidence in the bible that
God can sometimes choose to protect certain individuals.

The language of the hedge is perhaps a little odd for the modern reader. Why a hedge?
Certainly there are better edifices to provide protection than a hedge. Why not a wall with barbed wire?

Yet, this isnt the only instance in the bible where a hedge is described as a good barrier.

“Why hast thou then broken down her hedges, so that all they which pass by the way do pluck her?” [Psalms 80:12]
“The way of the slothful man is as an hedge of thorns:
but the way of the righteous is made plain.” [Proverbs 15:19]
“And now go to; I will tell you what I will do to my vineyard:
I will take away the hedge thereof, and it shall be eaten up; and break down the wall thereof,
and it shall be trodden down:” [Isaiah 5:5]

This is just the beginning. There are many other examples throughout the bible.

So, why a hedge?

We may not know exactly why, but the difference between a hedge and a wall is that a hedge is alive.

Whereas a wall is erected and slowly deteriorates over time, a hedge is a living thing,
that with proper care and attention will only grow thicker and stronger over time.

I believe that prayer is exactly the care and attention
we need to give in order to receive Gods blessings and protection.

The Hedge of Protection Prayer

How does one pray using the hedge of protection?

Its simple. You simply invoke the hedge when asking for protection from God.

Why do this?

What I like about praying with the hedge of protection is that
it invokes the vernacular of the bible. It shows that Ive read and understood the biblical texts.

Lets go over a sample prayer:

Dear Father,

Thank you for the blessings youve bestowed on me.
You are the protector and the light. In this time of need, my child has been involved
with peers who donot share the Christian values that we hold so dear.
In your name I pray for a hedge around my child to protect her from these evil forces that are at work.
May you bless her and this household and keep us safe in this time of need.

That day will be like nothing we’ve ever experienced before, a paradise, better than anything we can imagine. I pray a special prayer for everyone posting on this board, that our prayers are granted and our heartache is lessened. It also includes the strength, courage and wisdom to be the person I want to be.

Lenten Prayers

Lenten prayers commemorate a solemn Catholic period of fasting, taking stock of one’s sins and moral weaknesses, and reflecting on the sacrifice of Jesus Christ for the sins of man.

Dear Lord, we are now in the holy season of Lent.
We realize anew that these are the days of salvation.
We know that we are all sinners. We know that in many ways
We have offended Your infinite majesty.
We know that sin destroys Your life in us just as a drought
Withers the leaves and chokes the life from the land.

Help us now, Lord, in our feeble attempts to make up For our
past transgressions. Bless our efforts with the rich
Blessing of Your grace. Make us realize ever more our need of
Penance and redemption. Help us to see, in our ordinary
difficulties and duties, in daily trials and temptations,
the best opportunity of making up for past infidelities.
Every day we are so often reminded in field and wood,
In sky and stream, of Your own boundless generosity to us.

Help us to know that You are never outdone in generosity,
And that the least thing we do for You will be rewarded,
Full measure. Then we shall see, in our own souls, how the
Desert can blossom, and dry land can bring forth the rich,
useful fruit that was expected of it from the beginning.

O Gracious Lord Savior! You know the basic obstacle of my life from becoming the person I should be. Hello,

I would like to ask you to pray for me to know if my ex-boyfriend is the right one for me. We broke up because of my selfish reasons, and I am really very devastated ever since. I know that it was my fault because I became abusive in the relationship by taking his kindness for granted. Now, I am having all these signs that I could not possibly figure out. I feel like there is a force that is pushing us to be closer to one another.

I was very surprised to know that my latest project was located near his place. I really am having a hard time dealing with this premise. I need my job, and I cannot be reassigned to a different project because this was solely assigned to me. I am very much confused and scared all at the same time.

I don’t know how to deal with this situation. I recently also found out that he is dating someone new already. It really hurts me but I have no plans on sabotaging his happiness. But I have to meet up with him and his parents sooner or later because we are family friends and we have had a few things prepared for us when we were together.

We have to meet up because we have to dissolve our mobile phone lines and other accounts. But I cannot seem to face him. I am scared to see him. I feel like I will dodge a bullet if I see the one person who I wanted to make things right with be with the new love of his life.

This has prolonged the processing of the papers. Please help me. Please pray for me. I really am feeling confused. I honestly cannot put into words what I want to really ask you to pray for.
