Guardian angel prayers can be great prayers for children to say at night, before bed. They can also make for great prayers for protection in times of need.
This prayer below is the quintessential guardian angel prayer. It is common to say it before bed, or in the morning before you start your day.
Angel of God, my guardian Dear
Angel of God, my guardian dear,
To whom God’s love commits me here,
Ever this day be at my side,
To light and guard, to rule and guide.
Amen.
