I have struggled to find value in my current role for years. My current position in my district was cut by half, but I was able to choose to keep my position or be reassigned. I chose to keep my current position due to flexibility. However, the role has been redefined and the value the redefined role has is our district has been portrayed quite poorly, in my current opinion. I may have an opportunity to change positions to go back to being a classroom teacher where I can make an impact on student lives. I’m struggling with remaining in this role or pursuing the possible opportunity to teach again. I’m seeking prayer for how I should pursue my next steps. I’m asking for The Lord to move in a way to give a a clear sign to either put a brick wall in my path to teaching and stay where I am or open a clear pathway to staying in my role as an instructional coach.
