I am a caretaker for my 86 yr old Mother. Last Tuesday she fell very early in the morning and fractured a bone in her thumb. She is also recovering from knee replacement surgery she had back in April. She doesn’t move around much and she is rather negative on her outlook on life. She needs healing on all levels. I also have a 6 year old beagle that is over weight. She is recovering from an IVDD since January and the loss of my 12 year old beagle, her companion dog. Exercising her is complicated so I got her another companion beagle, a three month old female beagle. Bouncing off the walls.
With all this my aunt, Mother’s sister, who hasn’t visited in over 9 years, is pressuring me to do more. I feel burned out as it is and I’ve been caring for Mother for 10years. I’m not asking for strength, I believe I have it. I’m asking for help with my sadness to be silent and something wonderful to come to light. Just let me feel like I’m winning in someway.
