I just had all four wisdom teeth removed and am in pain. I would appreciate any prayers you all can offer. St. Apollonia is the patron saint of dentists and those suffering from dental problems. Here is a copy of a prayer for her intercession that might be useful to any of you in the future:
“O glorious St. Apollonia, champion of the faith of Christ and patroness of those suffering from dental ailments, have pity on me as I endure the pain and suffering that surrounds my teeth. Graciously hear my prayers and obtain from God a favorable answer to the request which I was now humbly lay before thee: (state request, in my case, for wisdom tooth recovery). Through gratitude for favors, I will endeavor to imitate your virtues that I may one day share your glory. Amen.”
