Dear God please help my son get over his drinking issues with alcohol. He is 34 years old and drinks too heavy on the weekends and gets drunk at least one time per weekend. I pray once mostly twice per day for his control in this matter without success! I need encouragement in the face of failure in this matter. He lives in Chicago, we live in Alabama and cannot convince his to turn his life around. We have talked to him about becoming active in a church to know avail. He was raised in many churches as we moved in a corporate manner but now living downtown, and lonely has him refusing to allow God to be a part of his life. He believes in God but that is about it. He is single, successful in the business world, If we could just get him to stop the drinking and get involved in a church in downtown Chicago. I pray for encouragement to handle this situation without losing him. My wife or I talk to him almost every day but cannot convince him to make some changes in his life. Please pray for me to have the continued faith of encouragement to encourage him to make a change in his life without losing him. He knows we don’t approve of his lifestyle but he has not changed his ways. I just ask for encouragement for words
to convince him to make a Godly turn in his life and fine a Christian lady who will encourage him as well. Thank you God for all you do for me!
