It drives me crazy when I ask an athlete a question about her gymnastics and get no response. She looks at me, but her lips remain still. She sees me standing right in front of her, but she remains silent, as though she is unaware of my presence. She ignores my questions. Even when she makes mistakes repeatedly, she seems to shun my involvement. Eventually she ends up in tears, but utters no response to my inquiry.
I have noted that many Christians behave like this toward God. They go through their days without talking with Him. Even though they believe in God, they spend little or no time developing an awareness of His presence in their lives. Then, when troubles and storms threaten, they are frustrated, stressed and anxious because they do not recognize Him. “He was in the world, and though the world was made through him, the world did not recognize him” (John 1:10).
There are ways to build an awareness of God. Pray for the Spirit to illuminate your mind with the truth of Christ’s presence in the world. Read the Scriptures; what God has done in the past for His people He still does for His people today. Look at the cross of Jesus and notice that God kept His promise to send a Savior. Find a way to celebrate communion with frequency. God in Christ will meet you at His table. Embrace worship. The Holy Spirit will reveal God in Christ to all who long to abide in His presence.
The Lord replied, “My Presence will go with you” (Exodus 33:15).

I got save by the grace and mercy of God 32 yrs ago! When I came to the Christian Church n the gospel n start learning abt it, I was bran new, I had to learn everything, including this “new group people environment who supposed to be the body of Christ”! (In the world n in my own family I been usually singled out/regected/ neglected/ devaluated etc, n at best ignored”!) When I came n start learning abt God I was so excited n positive that I din’t see or care to see the animosity around me (inside the Chrch! ) but over time I had to start seeing it bcause is very obvious even to this day! I’m not in the same Chrch n many things have happen during all those 32 yrs but one thing does remain, supposedly Christians just plainly ignored me! They don’t greet, look at,talk with or sit with me! ” Not even at Chrch”!? (Of course with the exception of 1 or 2 whom does acknowledge me!) This starting to bother me more n more! I have come to realize Christian People are pufft up, precidus, holy than thow, etc! All this makes me feel left out! I’am single/Mexican/ Immigrant,Mother of 5 grown Children n most of them hve fam, but istill is no excuse! For that n many other reasons I try to be xtra polite, caring, respectful, friendly to them n all, bcause I believe that specially for Christians this is totally wrong in unacceptable! Or alse, where is our Crist? Our Christ transformation? I know the power, blood ,name, word, faith, hope, gospel, love of Jesuschrist can do way much more than that! In fact my whole life n self is totally new n different since I meet Jesus, got save n knew the gospel! Thank you! God bless you all.
